Hotel Description:
  • The Belvedere Hotel sets the standard for quality and service in the Theater District. The Belvedere is the premier choice among the most discerning business and leisure travelers. Style, service and exceptional comfort in the heart of midtown Manhattan.Currently, there is a round trip per bag fee. Please be advised that you will be charged for the number of bags or the number of persons - which ever is greater. Porterage fees are subject to change. For groups with early arrivals or late departures, there will be second baggage charge per bag if the bellmen assist your group in both storing the luggage and moving it from the storage room to the sleeping room or vice versa. There is a storage of luggage fee per bag without exception.NOTE- The Belvedere is a union Hotel- therefore, as per our collective Barging Agreement, our Front services staff must receive porterage fees on all group luggage which enters and exits the hotel whether or not the staff physically handles the luggage.This policy is without exception and can only be waived by prior written approval by the Hotel General Manager. Verification of group luggage is by a physical count per bag by the senior bell staff member and the Hotel Manager on duty. The group leader is encouraged to sign off on the count upon arrival and departure of the group. Failure to sign off on the part of the group leader does not alleviate the tour operators/groups obligation from the responsibility of payment for group luggage as per the luggage contract.
